Bundesliga Betting Tips - Week Three

Bundesliga Betting saw some massive shocks last week as Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund suffered shock defeats at the hands of Hoffenheim and Augsburg. Dortmund could count themselves unlucky as they conceded with Augsburgs only two shots on target but Champions League winners Bayern Munich found themselves completely outfought by Hoffenheim who expertly countered the champions. Former Bayern youth coach Sebastian Hoeness is the manager of Hoffenheim, which could be something to consider for future fixtures.

Last Week's Stats Goals - 27 Goals (14 First Half, 13 Second Half) Over 2.5 Goals: 4/9 Both Teams to Score: 7/9

Bundesliga Betting Tips - Bayern Munich

Admittedly, we’ve been a little off with our Bayern Munich predictions so far this season, but we’ve still in the green as our first win was over evens with the bet builder. We didn’t predict 8-0, and we didn’t predict a loss last week, but we’re confident that we’ve got a grip on what to expect for their visit of Hertha Berlin. That being said, Berlin themselves have been inconsistent in the opening two weeks. First they thrashed Werder Bremen before being thrashed by Eintracht Frankfurt. Berlin enjoy having possession but are still lethal on the counterattack, they’ll try to keep possession but Bayerns pressing game will make that difficult, however, we do expect them to break through and score once with Bayern scoring two or three.

With that in mind, we’re predicting:

Bayern Munich to win Both Teams to Score Over 2.5 Goals Robert Lewandowski to score

This bet builder provides us with a decent 17/10 payout here, but it is a bet that can easily be modified. It is difficult to determine exactly what will happen as both sides have had contrasting performances in their first two weeks. Last season, Munich only lost two games under Hans-dieter Flick and they were back to back, it’s very unlikely that lightning will strike twice and as five out of the last seven home games have seen both teams scoring for Munich, this seems to be the best combination of bets. If you are a bettor who likes an underdog, check out Hertha Berlin and Draw double chance at 24/5

Bundesliga Betting Tips - Borussia Dortmund

We expected a goal fest last week as Dortmund took and Augsburg but we saw a poor attacking performance from Dortmund who have now suffered from back-to-back defeats - something they suffered from only once last season. They come up against Freiburg, a team who have played effective counter-attacking football, which will suit them against the Yellow and Blacks. However, what happened the last time Dortmund lost back-to-back games? They defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 4-0 and only allowed their opponents one shot in 90 minutes. We’re not expecting the same result as both fixtures last season were tight with Freiburg capturing a late point at home this season and Dortmund picking up three points in this fixture thanks to Jadon Sancho’s 7th goal in consecutive home matches. However, Erling Haaland was injured for this fixture last season, which could mean a more convincing result.

Dortmund to win 2-0 - 13/2
