Fantasy Football Tips for December

Fantasy Football Tips - December

Our expert is back with his Fantasy Football tips for the month alongside a unique betting tip for each player! Our expert bounced back from a sub-standard performance in October to pick up a respectable score in November. However, he also took a number of point deficits to ensure his squad was prepared for December. We'll even add some fantastic online betting tips for the first games of the month.

So, if you’re wondering exactly what made our tipster lose precious points, you’ll have to find out down below.

Last Months Performance

Our expert actually was forced to go against some of his tips this month due to injuries. However, keeping Tyrone Mings was a masterstroke of luck. The four players picked collected 87 points across four games in November with our lowest of the four collecting 14 points, so it wasn’t a bad month at all.

Anthony Martial 4 games - 16 points

Adama Traore 4 Games - 14 Points

Christian Pulisic 4 Games - 21 Points

Jamie Vardy 4 Games - 36 Points

Four Players You need in December

Vicente Guaita - 5 Million - Crystal Palace

Fixtures

Crystal Palace Vs Bournemouth - 3rd December

Watford Vs Crystal Palace - 7th December

Crystal Palace Vs Brighton - 16th December

Newcastle United Vs Crystal Palace - 21st December

Crystal Palace Vs West Ham - 26th December

Southampton Vs Crystal Palace - 28th December

Norwich Vs Crystal Palace - 1st January

Our Prediction

Few teams have a better run in December than Crystal Palace, all of their seven games are against sides in the bottom half, they have kept four clean sheets already in the 12 games Guaita has played with the keeper making 31 saves. You may argue their toughest test will be their trip to St James’ Park on the 21st, and they won 1-0 there last season.

We predict that Guaita will pick up approximately 27-29 points from their seven games in December/New Year.

Palace to win to nil against Bournemouth - 49/20

Alternative

If you’re the kind of player who has two goalkeepers and alternates, picking up Martin Dubravka from Newcastle might not be a bad shout. Newcastle have only conceded 6 goals at home all season despite playing Arsenal, Man United, Wolves and Manchester City. Their kryptonite has been Away from home where they play Sheffield United, Burnley, Manchester United and Leicester, so as long as you have someone for after boxing day. Dubrakva might be a good pick.

Dele Alli - Tottenham Hotspur - 8.5 Million

Fixtures

Manchester United Vs Spurs - 4th December

Spurs Vs Burnley - 7th December

Wolves Vs Spurs - 15th December

Chelsea Vs Spurs - 22nd December

Spurs Vs Brighton - 26th December

Norwich City Vs Spurs - 28th December

Southampton Vs Spurs - 1st January

Our Prediction

Are you Dele or Dele’s Brother? Whichever one it is, it still counts under Dele Alli in the Fantasy and since his return from injury, Alli has looked like not just what the England National Team has been missing but also what Spurs have been missing. Alli has scored four goals and picked up one assist in the six games he’s been back. However, their run of form has a certain smell to it and that smell is goals.

We think that Alli will pick up approximately 35-39 points in the upcoming month.

Alternative

If you don’t believe the hype of Mourinho’s return to Spurs. We recommend bringing in Christian Pulisic who has home games against Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Southampton. However, Chelsea haven’t been great at home so away games against poor defences like Everton, Spurs and Arsenal is massive.

Dele Alli to score 1st Vs Man United - 8/1

Jack Grealish - Aston Villa - 5.9 Million

Fixtures

Chelsea Vs Aston Villa - 4th December

Aston Villa Vs Leicester City - 8th December

Sheffield United Vs Aston Villa - 14th December

Aston Villa Vs Southampton - 21st December

Aston Villa Vs Norwich City - 26th December

Watford Vs Aston Villa - 28th December

Burnley Vs Aston Villa - 1st January

Our Prediction

In the last five games, he’s started, Jack Grealish has picked up 36 points and one of those games was a 3-0 defeat by Man City. So it’s safe to say he’s one of the inform players in the league right now and was at the centre of everything Villa did against Newcastle and Manchester United, he’s also the most fouled player in the league this season following in the footsteps of Eden Hazard. If you haven’t got Grealish in, we would personally wait until 21st when Villa have Southampton, Norwich and Watford all in the space in a week.

We predict that Grealish will pick up between 33-36 points in the next seven game weeks.

Jack Grealish to score anytime Vs Chelsea - 5/1

Lys Mousset - Sheffield United - 5.1 Million

Fixtures

Sheffield United Vs Newcastle United - 5th December

Norwich City Vs Sheffield United - 8th December

Sheffield United Vs Aston Villa - 14th December

Brighton Vs Sheffield United - 21st December

Sheffield United Vs Watford - 26th December

Manchester City Vs Sheffield United - 29th December

Liverpool Vs Sheffield United - 2nd January

Our Prediction

When Sheffield United bought Lys Mousset for 10 million, this guy made the bold prediction that they were getting 100% relegated and after their 0-0 draw at Vicarage Road, my opinion hadn’t changed. Since then, Mousset has scored four goals and made three assists picking up 44 points in six games and during that time they’ve played Wolves, Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs, so we’re expecting a similar points haul in their first five games of December. Although, you might want to look away after boxing day.

If Mousset continues his good run of form against the lesser teams we can see him picking up between 28-32 points in total.

Instead of offering an alternative, we’ll simply introduce you to our next pick, who basically is our alternative

Danny Ings - Southampton - 6.2 Million

Fixtures

Southampton Vs Norwich City - 4th December

Newcastle United Vs Southampton - 8th December

Southampton Vs West Ham United - 14th December

Aston Villa Vs Southampton - 21st December

Chelsea Vs Southampton - 26th December

Southampton Vs Crystal Palace - 28th December

Southampton Vs Spurs - 1st January

Our Prediction

When you consider how dreadful the Saints have been for large parts of this season. The fact that Danny Ings has picked up 67 points is magnificent. Ings has scored in Southampton’s last three against weaker defences which should mean against other weaker defences this month, he should have a good chance of scoring three or four goals before Christmas.

We predict Ings to pick up about 28-30 points in December.

3 Players you should avoid

Lucas Digne - Everton - 5.8 Million

The French Left-back is one of Everton’s best players and arguably one of the best French full-backs in the world. However, with Everton’s form and games against Liverpool, Chelsea, Man United, Arsenal and Man City in the next month. The 15.3% that have Digne should consider leaving him behind.

Ederson - Manchester City - 6 Million

Manchester City need to change something and if you’re part of the 15.5% that has Ederson in their fantasy team, so do you. As things stand, it’s been seven games since Manchester City kept a clean sheet in any competition in that time, Kasper Schmeichel has four, Dean Henderson has three and Nick Pope also has three. Time to save a little bit of dosh and get in a cheaper alternative.

Sergio Aguero - Manchester City - 11.8 Million

Thank you “Capitán obvio” although considering 12% of players still have Sergio Aguero, maybe captain obvious is thinking outside the box by suggesting players take out the injured forward that costs 11.8 million although, if we’re honest he was already on this list before he was injured, 17 points since week 7? No thanks, Sergio!
