Premier League gradings

We’re eight games into the Premier League season and in regards to our pre-season, football betting tips this season has started very much how we predicted. There have been a few unpredictable aspects such as Everton and Watford being in the bottom three alongside Crystal Palace and Burnley soaring at the top end of the table as for Manchester United, well we felt in terms of Football betting this was something you maybe should have expected.

Before we get started, if you’re missing Premier League football and you can’t quite find what you’re looking for in non-league or International football, why not give our online casino a try, you can find some fantastic live casino games such as Online Roulette and Online Blackjack as well as slots such as Starburst slot and Rainbow Riches.

Anyways, let's get back to the reason we’re here which is the grading of all 20 Premier League sides for the 2019/20 seasons so far.

Arsenal

Overview

Arsenal find themselves third in the Premier League as we go into the second international break of the season with their only defeat of the season coming at Anfield. Which when you consider half of their defence have been out injured and they’ve been forced to play youngsters such as Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka, their start of the season has been good.

Between now and 2020

We expect Arsenal to be dumped out of the EFL Cup, we think they’ll pick up 10 points out of 12 in their Europa League fixtures and pick up another 21 points in the Premier League to leave them on approximately 36 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Arsenal Betting

Arsenal to Win Europa League - 5/1

Aston Villa

Overview

The 5-1 win at Carrow Road has papered over some cracks at Aston Villa who have looked very good at times but have narrowly missed out on picking up points in games where they arguably should have won.

Between now and 2020

We think Villa have a good chance of making the next round of the EFL Cup and in the Premier League, we expect them to pick up 15 points leaving them with 23 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Aston Villa Betting

Aston Villa to finish top 10 - 6/1

Bournemouth

Overview

Bournemouth are middle of the pile, 10th out of 20. They’ve started well and had a great month in September. However, some might argue that the Cherries have had a fairly nice start to the season. However, their next twelve could push Bournemouth even further up the table.

Between now and 2020

Bournemouth can prioritise the league as they’ve been eliminated from the EFL Cup and we think Eddie Howe’s men will pick up 17 points from the next 12 games, leaving them with 28 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Bournemouth Betting

Bournemouth to finish top 10 - 9/4

Brighton & Hove Albion

Overview

If Brighton hadn’t beaten Spurs, they’d be in the bottom three. Before that win, they had gone 6 games without a victory and had a fairly favourable run during that time. They need to start picking up more points against smaller teams.

Between now and 2020

We expect Brighton to pick up merely 10 points from their next 12 games. Leaving them with 19 points and in the relegation zone.

Grade so far

Brighton Betting

Brighton to be relegated - 16/5

Burnley

Overview

Sean Dyche probably would’ve bitten your hand off if you offered him 7th place after 8 games. They’ve impressed so far but questions remain over whether they can keep it up.

Between now and 2020

We think that Burnley will pick up 14 points from their next 12 games which will leave them on 26 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Burnley Betting

Burnley to finish top 10 - 16/5

Chelsea

Overview

The 2019/2020 rendition of the entertainers find themselves in 5th place and are surpassing most peoples expectations for the season, as Chelsea’s youth continues to shine, this transfer ban might not have been a bad thing after all.

Between now and 2020

We think that Chelsea will pick up another 22 points in their next twelve games which will leave them with 36 points and level with Arsenal.

Grade so far

Chelsea Betting

Chelsea to finish third behind City and Liverpool - 6/4

Crystal Palace

Overview

Despite a fairly favourable fixture list, I don’t think many expected Crystal Palace to be fourth after 8 games. They’ve started well after the Wilfred Zaha fiasco threatened to derail their season.

Between now and 2020

We expect Crystal Palace to struggle in the upcoming months picking up 12 points from 12 games which would result in 26 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Crystal Palace Betting

Crystal Palace to finish top 10l - 6/4

Everton

Overview

Four Premier League defeats in a row has put Marco Silva in a very compromising position. The defeat to Manchester City was fine but defeats to Bournemouth, Sheffield United and Burnley will have Everton fans worried about this season.

Between now and 2020

We think that Everton will knock out Watford in the EFL Cup but Marco Silva will be sacked before the end of the year. We think they’ll recover well after Silva is sacked and end up with 18 points from the 12 remaining games. Giving them a total of 25 points.

Grade so far

Everton Betting

Everton to finish top 10 - 6/4

Leicester City

Overview

We said at the start of the season that Leicester City were the most likely side to break into the top four this season and in the first eight games despite facing four of the top six, they’re already demonstrating exactly how strong they are.

Between now and 2020

We think Leicester will progress through to the next round of the EFL Cup and pick up 18 points from their next 12 games, giving them 32 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Leicester Betting

Leicester to win EFL Cup - 8/1

Liverpool

Overview

Eight wins from Eight. The only team to have managed that in Europe’s top leagues. That’s all you really have to say.

Between now and 2020

We think Liverpool will prevail against Arsenal and win their four Champions League games. We think Liverpool will pick up 28 out of their next 36 finish 2019 on 52 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Liverpool Betting Liverpool to win domestic treble - 58/1

Manchester City

Overview

We said in the Summer than Manchester City needed to strengthen defensively and they haven’t. They have already dropped ⅓ of points available this season and are eight points behind Liverpool. Champions League may have to be the aim this season.

Between now and 2020

We predict City will knock Southampton out of the EFL Cup, we think Manchester City will pick up 26 points from their next 12 games and end 2019 on 42 points and remain unbeaten in the Champions League.

Grade so far

Man City Betting

Man City to win CL - 3/1

Manchester United

Overview

Ole might be at the wheel but the bus has well and truly broken down. You have to go back to the first game of the season for a game they have scored more than once. By the way, they’ve played 10 games since.

Between now and 2020

We think if Man United fail to beat Liverpool, Norwich or Chelsea, Ole will be sacked and we think this will happen, United will have a small boost to pick up 16 points from their next 12 games. Leaving them with 25 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Man United Betting

Man United to finish bottom 10 - 5/1

Newcastle

Overview

Before their 1-0 win over Manchester United, things were a calamity at Newcastle and we honestly don’t see that changing too much. We think that 2019 will either see Newcastle finish the season outside the bottom three or will see the sacking of Steve Bruce.

Between now and 2020

We see Newcastle picking up 15 points in their next 12 games as their first four games in December are massive for the club. This would leave them with 23 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Newcastle Betting

Newcastle to finish bottom three - 5/4

Norwich City

Overview

Until last week Carrow Road had been a fortress but then when you say they beat Manchester City and they’re 19th, it really doesn’t sound good for the Canaries. They might be entertaining to watch but as it stands they’re going down.

Between now and 2020

We think that Norwich will pick up 14 points from their next 12 games and find themselves on 20 points at the end of the year.

Grade so far

Norwich Betting

Norwich to finish bottom - 15/4

Sheffield United

Overview

Sheffield United currently have the second strongest defence in the league. Unfortunately, because of this they’ve suffered offensively. However, Chris Wilder’s side have done a fantastic job this season so far.

Between now and 2020

We think Sheffield United will struggle a little more in the next 12 games but still manage to pick up 14 points to leave them with 23 at the start of 2020.

Grade so far

Sheffield United Betting

Sheffield United to be relegated - 7/4

Southampton

Overview

Southampton have defined the term average so far this campaign. As they’ve picked up wins but looked unremarkable throughout. Especially when you consider they’ve picked up just one point at home this season.

Between now and 2020

We don’t think they’ll manage to get past Man City in the EFL Cup and we think they’ll pick up 14 points from their next 12 games which leaves the Saints on 21 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Southampton Betting

Southampton to be relegated - 16/5

Tottenham Hotspur

Overview

You take away the last fortnight of Football and Spurs weren’t doing too badly. We have a feeling that Poch will leave the club soon as he’s taken them as far as he can.

Between now and 2020

We think that Spurs will take 20 points in the Premier League which will leave them with 31 points from 20 games. We also think they’ll pick up seven points from their four Champions League group games.

Grade so far

Tottenham Betting

Spurs to finish top 4 - 5/4

Watford

Overview

A dismal start to this campaign has seen Watford winless despite playing five of the bottom 10 so far this season. Fortunes need to change at Watford but their change of manager isn’t something we think will work out.

Between now and 2020

We think that Watford will lose their EFL Cup tie against Everton and pick up another 13 points between now and the end of 2020. This will leave them with 16 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Watford Betting

Watford to finish bottom - 15/4

West Ham United

Overview

Since Manchester City’s 5-0 win at the London Stadium, the Hammers went on 6-game unbeaten run and were unlucky to lose against Crystal Palace, all things considered, not a bad start for Manuel Pellegrini’s men but they have had a favourable start.

Between now and 2020

We think that West Ham United will slip in November and December and will pick up 14 points from 12 games leaving them with 26 after 20 games.

Grade so far

West Ham Betting

West Ham to finish the highest outside of the big six- 8/1

Wolves

Overview

Before their win against Man City, we were a little worried about Wolves who only picked up their first win on the 28th September. Now, they’re five games unbeaten and are mid-table.

Between now and 2020

We don’t think Wolves will want to remain in the EFL Cup because the Europa League is priority number one, they should pick up nine points from 12 in the Europa League and we can see them picking up 20 points between now and 2020 leaving them with 30 points from 20 games.

Grade so far

Wolves

Wolves to finish the highest outside of the big six- 11/ 2
