NFL Gameweek 12 Predictions at 21.co.uk Online Casino and Betting
Following a dramatic set of games in Week 11 that seen a 105-point thriller between the Rams and Chiefs, Week 12 descends upon us and brings a new sense of excitement to fans everywhere with some huge games starting this Thursday through to Tuesday.
Here at 21.co.uk, we will be overviewing the biggest matchups of Week 12 and looking deep into the numbers to uncover some value bets for this weeks roundup!
New Orleans Saints v Atlanta Falcons - Friday 01:20 GMT
After the Lions take on the Bears and Cowboys battle it out against the Redskins, the in-form Saints will be taking on a struggling Falcons side who seem to have a broken wing (or two) this season.
Evidently, Dan Quinn’s men have struggled to maintain any true form and haven’t soared to NFC South superiority like they would have been aiming for at the start of the season.
Indeed, it has been quite the opposite, with only a 4-6 record to show for all of their offensive efforts that have allowed Julio Jones to be the leading wide receiver for receiving yards, courtesy of the 4x Pro Bowler, Matt Ryan.
It has been the lack of defence that has stopped these Falcons from reaching their true heights, and it is for this very reason that they are such underdogs against the 9-1 Saints who just put up 48 points whilst conceding just one TD against defending Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Before they wreaked havoc on the seemingly helpless Eagles, they had just come off the back of putting up 51 points against the Bengals as well as winning the battle of loggerheads by 10 points against the equally impressive Rams, who just overturned the formidable Chiefs in Week 11.
This high-scoring trend looks set to continue as these two sides meet this week, as their last outing against each other in September ended up in an 80 point game that seen the Saints steal it in overtime.
Saints v Falcons Tip
It is for this reason that our bet for this matchup would be for Over 64.5 Points at 7/5* on 21.co.uk.
Philadelphia Eagles v New York Giants - Sunday 18:00 GMT
After a crushing defeat at the hands of Drew Brees and the rampant Saints, the Eagles will look to seek redemption by toppling the Giants this Sunday in what could be an interesting NFC East matchup.
On paper, the defending Super Bowl Champions led by Doug Pederson should be taking this game, but based on the form it looks like the G-Men could cause an upset on the road.
Coming off the back of a 2 game win streak against the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Big Blue will look to grow even stronger with a victory over the Eagles and move up the NFC East to keep Odell’s unbeaten dream alive.
On the other hand, Philadelphia will enter the matchup with a shattered ego following their Super Bowl victory after losing their last two games against the Dallas Cowboys and then crushed by the Saints 48-7.
The Giants have risen to the challenge as of recent, with #13 OBJ getting into his stride and leading the Giants offence alongside Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram and of course, the rampant rookie Saquan Barkley. With 3 TD’s in his last game against the Bucs, Saquan will look to dominate a weak Eagles defence and capitalise on their out-of-form offence to win the game.
Eagles v Giants Tip
Based on his form and the value for them to win, our bet would be for Saquan Barkley to Score a TD and Giants to Win at 3/1 via 21.co.uk’s Price Boost*
Carolina Panthers v Seattle Seahawks - Sunday 18:00 GMT
In what could be the game of the day, the Seahawks swoop into Carolina for a contest that pits two world-class QB’s up against each other in Carolina’s Cam Newton and Seattle’s Russell Wilson.
With 2 of the most versatile quarterbacks in the NFL, this game looks set to be a free throwing and free-flowing game that could see a huge number of points put up by both teams.
Versatility will be the key in this matchup, as it looks like the Panthers depth and breadth of talent outweigh Seattle’s, with a quality RB in Chris McCaffrey who has already run for over 600 yards with 60 receptions on top of that. As well as that, Cam Newton will have no troubles in eyeing the 6’4” TE Greg Olsen who has averaged over 11 yards per reception this season.
Panthers v Seahawks Tip
The Seahawks depth doesn’t seem to match with the Panthers, and this is why we could quite easily see the Cam Newton and his Panthers feast against damaged a Seahawks side at home. Our tip would be for the Panthers to Win by 7-12 Points at 4/1*.
