About Gonzo's Quest Game
Gonzo's Quest™ is a 5-reel, 20-payline slot game featuring elegant graphics and sounds that add to the playing experience. Unlike other slot games, Gonzo’s Quest does not utilise traditional spinning wheels. Instead, Net Entertainment has come up with its Avalanche™ feature, a feature that truly changes everything you know about slot games. The game also includes wild symbols and a Free Fall feature.
Gameplay
To begin play, the user uses the 'Bet' and 'Coin Value' buttons to determine the wager for each of the 20 paylines. There are no up and down arrow keys; users simply scroll through the choices by clicking the buttons. Once wagers have been established, the user clicks the 'Start' button at the centre of the screen. This generates falling blocks, which will then produce symbol combinations.
There are wild symbols in Gonzo's Quest. They substitute for all other symbols, including the Free Fall symbol.
Gonzo's Quest Slot Avalanche™ Feature
The Avalanche puts symbols into place by dropping blocks from the top of the screen rather than spinning reels. Should a winning combination be achieved, the symbols in that combination explode and trigger an avalanche. The avalanche will continue until there are no more winning combinations achieved. Every avalanche within a single play multiplies winnings until maximum winnings are achieved. Multiplier values are different during this feature, with the potential for a max multiplier of up to 15x.
Gonzo's Quest Slot Free Fall Feature
Gonzo's Quest includes Free Fall symbols that can trigger the Free Fall feature when three or more are achieved in a row, beginning with the first position on the left. Free Falls are similar to free spins in a traditional reel-based game. Additional free falls can be achieved during this round. Furthermore, the avalanche feature is active during the bonus round.
Miscellaneous Information
All winning combinations must originate from the first position to the left. Winnings are calculated by multiplying the value of winning symbols by the wager on the winning payline. Users can track individual payouts in total wins by checking the paytable.
Multiple wins occurring on multiple lines are added together for total winnings on each additional fall. Should multiple winnings occur on the same line, only the highest win is awarded.
Gonzo's Quest allows players to change a number of different settings to take advantage of the advanced graphics and sound. For example, intro animations can be turned on or off; overall graphics quality can be adjusted. The user can also change sound settings relating to ambient sounds and game sound effects. Game history can also be turned on and off based on user preference. The highest settings offer the best possible experience while lower settings improve performance and speed.
