What Is Slingo?
Slingo has emerged as one of the most popular gaming types available in the online casino industry, presenting players with a brilliant hybrid of two of the oldest casino games in the world: bingo and slots, bringing together the best elements of both to provide a completely unique gameplay experience with the aim of filling up as much of your card as possible as numbers roll onto the game grid with every spin.
Slingo games are a fantastically unique online casino game that presents players brilliant payout potential and great gaming experience by combining the best aspects of both online bingo and slot machines.
The first thing you should get to grips with before playing any of our Slingo games is the Slingo Lingo, once you understand the key terms you should find understanding the game a breeze. So we’ve put together a handing little dictionary of all the Slingo terms you’ll need to get started:
- Joker: A type of Wild symbol that can be used to mark off any number in the column above where it appears.
- Super Jokers: A Wild symbol that can be used to mark off any number across the entire game grid.
- 3 or more Jokers or Super Jokers: Gives players an instant cash prize payout.
- Free Spins: Awards players a single free spin.
- Coin: Also awards an instant cash prize.
- Devil: Prevents potential matches from forming on the board.
What Is The Most Popular Slingo Game?
Living up to its slot-based reputation, the most popular Slingo game we host here at 21.co.uk is Rainbow Riches Slingo. With its recognisable, well-loved setting, immersive gameplay and chances to land some potentially huge payouts, it’s easy to see why this addition to the esteemed Rainbow Riches franchise is so popular.
However, this is closely matched by a number of other titles, including branded titles such as Monopoly Slingo that sees Rich Uncle Pennybags return to 21.co.uk to present players with another brilliant bout of Monopoly casino gameplay that’s packed with potential. There are also a number of famed casino gameshow themed Slingo games that could see players go up against the Chasers in The Chase Slingo, or answer the banker’s all-important question in Deal or No Deal Slingo.
How To Play Slingo Games
With Slingo increasing in popularity over the past few years, you may be feeling ready to dip your toe into the pool and start playing - but how is Slingo played? Despite being a hybrid game, it’s actually quite easy to get the hang of but we’ve put together some of the basic steps you need to follow when you start playing:
Stake: As with any casino based game, you will need to set a stake - this is the amount of money you would like to wager on every 10-spin round of the game you play. Unlike when playing slots, the bet amount you set will not be deducted from your balance on every spin but instead for each set of spins you play.
Spin: Once your stake is set, press the Spin button to start playing. The bottom row of the interface will fill with numbers and, like with bingo, any that match with the numbers on your tickets will be marked off automatically.
Wild: Slingo Wilds, also known as Jokers, can randomly land in the row below the base game grid. Should one land, you will be given the opportunity to mark off one of the numbers that appear within the same column as the Wild. Remember, the aim of the game is to fill as many matching numbers as you can, so be careful to choose numbers that will take you closer to filling a line. In some games, there are also a number of Super Wilds or Super Jokers that can appear to present the opportunity for you to mark off any number on the grid.
