Dragon Tiger: the Ultimate Online Baccarat Experience

Dragon Tiger: the Ultimate Online Baccarat Experience

Online casino gaming doesn't have to be complicated. That's the point of Dragon Tiger, a card game with few rules but lots of fast-paced action. This is a game you definitely want to try if you are looking for something a bit different. It's nothing like poker or blackjack. Dragon Tiger is something completely different intended for an audience looking for more gaming options. However, some could describe the experience similar to online baccarat.

Dragon Tiger Description

Compared to older games like online roulette and poker, Dragon Tiger is relatively new. It is an Asian-themed game with simplicity at its core. There is only one basic rule to remember: the highest-ranked card wins. That's what Dragon Tiger is all about.

Your task is to place your bets and then make a guess as to which side will receive the higher ranked card. Guess correctly and you win a 1-to-1 payout; a tie will cost you half your wager. Dragon Tiger is played with eight decks of cards to a shoe, so tying is more common than you might think.

In terms of competition, you are not playing against other players or the house. You are only competing against your own ability to correctly guess the outcome of the hands. There are two scoreboards on either side of the control panel. Those scoreboards are explained in more detail below.

Dragon Tiger Game Presentation

Dragon Tiger is presented as a very elegant casino game in a studio that has been decorated with a very nice Asian theme. Depending on the camera angle of your particular table, you may see other active tables to one side or the other. You will also be able to hear everything going on in the studio as long as the sound on your device is turned up.

When you first login, you will be presented with an active table. You do not have to wait until the shoe is empty in order to sit down and get in on the next one. You can start playing with the very next hand. All of the controls you need to play are presented as computer graphics overlaying the video image at the bottom of your screen.

To interact with the dealer or other players in the room, use the associated chat tool. This tool is your ticket to engaging with other players and is one of the things that makes Dragon Tiger such a social game.

How to Play Dragon Tiger

Playing Dragon Tiger is as simple as placing a bet and choosing which side – the Dragon or the Tiger – will get the higher-ranked card. But you don't have all day to do so; each hand is time-limited in order to keep the action moving. You can keep track of how much time you have left by following the digital clock placed just underneath the poker chips at the bottom of your screen. When that clock reaches zero, betting is closed, and the next round of cards is dealt.

Those two scoreboards mentioned earlier are located on either side of your main control panel. The scoreboard on the right tracks all the other players in the room and how they are wagering. The scoreboard on the left keeps track of how many hands each side has won.

Based on mathematical odds, you can analyse the data in both scoreboards to get a feel for how the game is going. The principle of 50-50 odds suggests that over the course of an entire shoe, the two sides will win an even number of hands.

Dragon Tiger Extras

There are two extras in Dragon Tiger represented as side bets. The first is the Tie Bet. Should you choose to make this bet, you make it along with your play wager before the clock hits zero. You are wagering that the next hand will end in a tie. If both cards are of equal rank, you win a payout of 11 to 1. You still lose half your play wager, though.

The second side bet is the Suited Tie Bet. A suited tie is one that ends up with cards of equal rank in the same suit. Win this you will get a payout of 50 to 1. Note that the Suited Tie Bet is statistically less likely to hit the further you go in the game. So try to keep track of the number of suited ties that are coming up. The more there are, the less likely you will hit one later in the game. That is really all there is to Dragon Tiger, a beautifully created Live Casino game.
