We’re big poker fans here at and this month we’ve been delving a little deeper into the popular card game. Vegas is certainly top of our list for travel destinations, Live Casino experiences and last month we compiled an epic Las Vegas Bucket List. This month we’ve done our research and bring you a list of the best poker tournaments on offer in Sin City. If you happen to be in the area, be sure to check one or two of these out if you want to put your poker face into practice.

1. The Venetian

Here you can get a slice of the action by taking part in DeepStack Extravaganza - one of the most popular poker tournament festivals in the world. The Venetian offers not one, but five major poker events every year so be sure to drop by if you happen to be in Vegas at the time, or if you’re yet to book up, we recommend visiting when one of these events are in full swing. If you’re not there for the DeepStack events, however, there’s still plenty of poker action to be had at The Venetian. Check out their OneDay Tournaments which offer two daily poker events or their Monthly Tournaments if you’re aged 50+. The Venetian even offers special suite rates for poker players looking to stay in The Venetian hotel or The Palazzo.

2. Caesars Palace

Voted Best Poker Room at the 2015 Best of Las Vegas Awards, Caesars Palace has a great reputation for poker. They welcome both recreational and seasoned players alike to their 4,500-square-foot casino poker room located in the heart of the gaming floor right near The Colosseum. There are sixteen tables available and you’ll have free WiFi to use while you play. 3. Bellagio

The Bellagio is another famed casino found on the iconic Vegas strip. Classic-style poker is on offer in the Bellagio Poker Room and is one of the stops on the famous World Poker Tour. You'll find forty tables in the sophisticated 7,000 square feet poker room which offers two high-limit areas. Take a seat at the exclusive two-table section Bobby's Room, named after the 1978 World Series Poker Champion, Bobby Baldwin. The Bellagio Poker room also gives you the ultimate VIP experience, complete with 24-hour tableside dining, complimentary beverage service, full-service cashier cage, state-of-the-art sound system and 32" TV monitors and 42" plasma screens. The decor is bound to set the scene for an epic poker tournament with artwork depicting past Bellagio tournaments and World Poker Tour events. Bellagio also throws their own poker event, named Five Diamond, which runs for two weeks of the year, so be sure to look out for this if you're planning a trip. There's plenty of daily poker action to be had whenever you happen to be living it up on the Las Vegas strip too, with tournaments being held daily. There's no Guaranteed Prize Pool when you play poker at the Bellagio, but if it’s a high-class, high-limits casino environment you’re after, look no further than the Bellagio Poker Room.

4. Golden Nugget

This one is off the Las Vegas strip if you fancy a change of scenery. The Golden Nugget is one of the most famous poker rooms in Vegas, and you may have heard of it. It's the home of legendary televised poker show High Stakes Poker. The High Roller Suite has witnessed some of the biggest and most dramatic pots (wagers) in TV history. If you're a fan of NBC's Poker After Dark then you may recognise the Golden Nugget Poker Room as several seasons of the show were filmed there. You may well bump into some big names in professional Poker here, making it a great place to compete in tournaments and possibly pick up a few tips.

5. The Orleans

Another off-strip option, The Orleans casino offers a great tournament for players looking for a bit of variation when it comes to their Vegas poker experience. You can take part in various poker tournaments here, which commence twice daily.
